Mark,

I've already started to see how the mod coding works but not enough to do any myself. But the light is turning on. One thing that is frustrating me, though, is that I can usually take the properies of a site I like and plug it into Dreamweaver and figure out how to do the aspects that appeal to me. That's not the case with css stylesheets. Any chance you are planning a how-to on creating our own stylesheets, headers, and footers? (crosses fingers and hopes)

Hi Rochelle -

The custom template series is going to be very detailed and indepth on taking a blank image, creating a working image so to speak, and then chopping that image into the sections needed for the BANS site.

In regard to the coding... it just comes with time. I never went though technical school or college for programming and just picked up what I know from a few "Dummies" books and having the need to change code.

You too, after doing BANS MODS and other html coding, will see how it becomes easier over time. I started with asp vbscript about 12 years ago, did'nt get into php until I had to for work purposes...

Thanks again for the nice comments...

I honestly don't know how you find the time to do all that you are doing! That being said, I can't wait to read your instructions on custom templates as I have no clue how to do that but really want to.

Just out of curiosity, regarding the mods you create, how do you know how to code them? That may be too hard to answer due to technicalities but I'm fascinated by you and the other members who figure out how to do things and then code them.
