Build a Niche Store Mods

August 29, 2007 | Author: Mark | Filed under: Build a Niche Store

Build a Niche Store for eBay Affiliates is already a very high performance script for monetizing a website or starting your own ebay affiliate program. In conjunction with the FAQ page I have started, I was prompted by a few visitors to put together a page listing the modifications that can help with Search Optimization and/or several other small features I have added in myself.

This Build a Niche Store Mod page will be an active work in progress! Don’t hesitate to ask if you have questions or need help. Note that I have also linked to a text file where there are major code changes involved. When making the changes, I recommend that you open the text file and copy the code within that file versus copying the modified code directly from this page.

In no certain order… and scaled to ease of change (Skills :: 1-10, 1 being the easiest, 10 being the hardest)

Thats all for now folks! Check back daily for more additions, or request one below if you want something different.

This is a great resource and makes for some very interesting tips. Just one thing, is it ok to put a famous/trade name in a website? I was always under the impression that you could be “chased” for doing that and then sued. What are your thoughts?

Cherie -

I would have to concur with your thought. We have several domains that we are patiently awaiting someone to come along and tell us they have the trademark to the name.

That being said… I have other product specific domains that have been thriving for several years with no issues at all.

I guess it just depends on the size of the company and their desire to shut out all forms of advertising accept their own.

Good question that always comes up in the DNForum.
