Is your MOD sitemap compatible with the bans sitemap that some of us added to our admin page thru CuteFTP a while back. Is having both helpful, harmful, duplication, unnecessary or just what effect will it have?

Hi Jenny -

Its a bit confusing the first time... I was in the same situation!!

Inside your admin, click on "Store Pages", the very top listing should be the MAIN category of your store.

Edit the query on that specific page - it should should then pull in listings for you.

Mark,
In the Content Pages -> edit: there is no query box, so there is no room to specify search terms.

There is only: Title, keywords, description, content and page information.

I did specify in Settings to show items on Home, but
how does it knows where to pull the items from and by which keywords?

Thank you in advance
Jenny

Hi Jenny -

Glad to see you jumped onboard with BANS! As long as you spend a small amount of time with your store each day - you will not be disappointed!!

In regard to home page items - have you used any search terms in the query box that may limit the items displayed?

Hi Mark,
I finally got Bans (I feel bad that I missed your affiliate link, but for some reason i did not see it at the time).
So i set up my first store and i am stock with one stupid question. I did read the entire forum, but did not find the answer.
My site is rims.us. Somehow, the home page which I call Rims - displays only few items. How do I change the home to pull items from a different category number?

I thank you in advance

Hi Nick -

There are really a few variables in your question. The basic answer however, is yes! BANS can be integrated to any existing website as long as the server will support it!!

One easy way to integrate is to place BANS into its own folder: ex: www.mywebsite.com/mynichestore/BANSfront end.

If you want to shoot me the url, I may be able to make better suggestions based on the layout of the site!

Hi Mark,

I am totally a newbie to the BANS and want to purchase it in a couple of days to get started. I would appreciate if you can comment on few points:

1 Can we integrate BANS with an already active website?
2 My current website is a content based niche site with some adsense work i put here and there. How do i integrate BANS to it so that I can also start earning from eBay without loosing my earlier income sources?

Hi Strat -

ALL of your text is being seen by the engines... Load up lynx, or a different text only browser. All your text is fine and being seen and indexed.

Try this tool: http://pizzaseo.com/tool-lynx.php

Essentially, it is showing you what text is being read from your site, which is what the search engines see.
